Persona's
Hello bloggers! On Tuesday we discovered more and more about the firefox browser. But the highlight of it was a persona. A persona changes your theme all around your browser into all the different persona's you can choose from. There are wide varieties of persona's from sports, to flowers, to music etc. as you can see mine is a Nike persona that reads Just Do It which is Nike's motto.

Feedjit
Next to this type you can see a screenshot of a nifty little gadget called feedjit. Feedjit is a live traffic feed that shows you when somebody views and when someone leaves your blog. Its fairly easy to make and there's a variety of different colors and layouts to choose from. Mine are all from my town and mostly from my classmates but it doesn't show who is visiting your blog, just where they are from.
favicon
Today in our computer class we learned about the favicon website. Favicon is a website that lets you place a picture in front of your web address. Favicon stands for Favorite Icon. You can either draw a favicon or you can add one from the internet. As you can see my favicon is nothing special its just a bunch of random colors inside m square. Favicon is a fun way to add a little spice to your blog address! Yeah!

Blogger on your mobile device
The Blogger app is available on iOS but I don't know about Android. It's mostly the same exact thing except you can't play or use some of the gadgets like flash games. You don't have the option to view next blog like you do on the full web version. You also cant use a snapshot like you can to add it right onto your post like you can on the web version. Its also comfier so you don't have to sit at your computer you can take your phone or other device anywhere that has wifi. But other than those you can do almost everything you can do on the app is the same as the full web version. I think it's easier to created new posts on the app because I'm used to using my mobile device more than a computer. As I am doing right now on my mobile device. So I prefer the app over the full web version.

Symbaloo
Symbaloo is a social bookmarking website that you can place tiles of your favorite websites onto what they call a webmix. A webmix is a page where you can place your bookmark's of your favorite websites or to just add some pictures of your favorite sports teams. A webmix can hold up to 52 bookmarks on one page at a time. You can have as many webmix's as you want as a time. It works by clicking on a tile and a search bar comes down from the top asking what you want to search, but sometimes not all your websites with have a Symbaloo tile. There's also already made webmix's by other people that you can get onto. Some may be holiday themed, or season themed like a Halloween Symbaloo or a Christmas Symbaloo full of games activities or recipes. Symbaloo is a great way to let other people know about your favorite sites.
